Lil Keke's Birthday Bash @ Roxy

Arrived at Roxy (fairly early) not sure what to expect. There was no line. The bouncer at the door checked my bag to make sure I didn't have any weapons on me. Needles to say I didn't.  Once inside the woman at the door collected the $10 fee. I handed her a $20, she didn't have any change so I had to wait at least 5 mins for my change.  I could see if I handed her a $100 bill or something large....needless to say I wasn't too happy about that.  I digress. After getting my change I walked down stairs found a seat near the bar, sat there for about 2 mins then a man quickly made me move. I found another seat near the bar.  It wasnt a bad alternative but it wasn't what I had initially selected.
So as I was waiting for Keke to perform it is now 11pm and the club is still very empty. It's nothing like I had expected. I really thought that more of Houston would have been here in support of my husband. It's still early. There is still hope that the building will be at capacity.  It's only 11....
I'll update after my boo performs.
Update.....
Roxy was packed from top to bottom.....in true Houston fashion the party people showed up at midnight and turned the spot out! Bottles were popping and being passed around, loud was all in the air, no plex, no drama, just a really good time. The after party was at V Live, when I got there it was about 3:30 am and there weren't that many people there. I stayed there for about an hour or so. Overall the party was great and the (after party) was lack luster at best.
